Couture Beach Cottage

Couture Beach Cottage was created around the Kellerman’s Mountain House theme but really, it’s affectionately known as Tom’s Cabin.

Enjoy the time capsule that has been captured in this quaint, waterfront property located on the shores of Lake St. Clair. You’re probably wondering about the name Tom’s Cabin. We were lucky enough to meet Tom when we purchased this property in 2021. Tom’s family built this cabin over 70 years ago. It was built by his uncle in the 50’s as a cottage to enjoy the fun offered by the Lakeshore area and Lake St. Clair. The cottage has remained in the family since it was originally built. We are, essentially, the second owners and invested in the cottage to update it to the current comforts we all enjoy while maintaining its unique and beautiful 50’s heritage. Everything from the original stove to the ornate door handles to the log trimmed walls in the living room. We hope you appreciate and enjoy the charm as much as we do.

We have peppered some of the family’s memories throughout the cottage for you to enjoy. We have a ‘wall of fame’ to capture new memories that are made while enjoying the cottage.
